Balustrade tables like these were once part of life in medieval, 17th-century monasteries. This is a reproduction true to the original’s hand-hewn style and trestle design. Frame and legs handcrafted of solid hardwood; tabletop crafted of engineered wood with hand-selected fine veneers. Intensive, multistep finishing process replicates the character of aged wood. The finish is a Black Acacia, distressed with nicks, markings and pinholes to add distinctive detail and impart a timeworn patina. Turned trestle legs in a baluster shape. By their nature, unsealed wood planks may be somewhat uneven, and may cup or bow slightly over time, further enhancing their rustic one-of-a-kind character; cracks may be present. Visible and minor wear on entire frame.

Accompanied with a set of eight chairs, reproductions of vintage French dining chairs display the elegant restraint emblematic of neoclassicism. Defined by linear form and tapering fluted columnar legs, the chairs have been updated in hand-carved solid oak with a soft, weathered finish. The finish is a Black Oak Drift, upholstered with Perennials Velvet in a Sand color. Visible and minor wear, needs professional cleaning. Consist of two arm chars and six side chairs.
