Design Plus Gallery presents a Richards’ Trunk Desk by Restoration Hardwarw. Designed by Timothy Oulton. Inspired by a 20th century battered and worn luggage that had a brass plate mounted on the latch, which belonged to a Tom Richards. Tim Oulton dismantled every pin and measured, every hinge and brace scrutinized. A collection was then formed.Braced with strips of aged solid wood trimmed with antiqued brass. Fitted with leather handles and corner protectors. The five pullout drawers drawers are canvas lined. The frame is in a beige canvas. There is minor wear on the service where there minor water rings. A great addition for a Library, Living space or Study.
