Restoration Hardware French Railroad Library Bookcase. Original Price: $2,000

Design Plus Gallery presents a French Railroad Library Bookcase by Restoration Hardware. A reproduction of a mid-1940s eastern European library bookcase. Crafted from antiqued iron and hardwood, it displays books and other collectibles from four open sides. Distressed to replicate its forebear with the patina of age, the shelving’s front handles and lower bar step are functional vestiges of its earlier employment, equipping it for moves and reaching the upper tiers as necessary. Visible and minor wear, missing one bold front. This is a discontinued model. Made in India.
