Restoration Hardware Directoire Distressed Oak Bedside Tables – a Pair

Design Plus Gallery presents a pair of Directoire bedside tables. Minor noticeable wear on surface. Features three drawers with metal pulls. Distressed finish. An 18th-century counterpoint to the extravagance of rococo, the Directoire period celebrated the balance and refinement of Classical Greek architecture and neoclassical forms. The Restoration Hardware Directoire collection is a faithful reproduction of an antique, and displays the slender, elegant proportions that define the period, with carved wood panel detailing, hand-turned posts and ball finial accents. These piece replicate the patina finish of the original antique, worn and distressed to showcase the beauty of the white oak.
