The auburn valley floor, the controlled rows of green leafed grapes ready for harvest, the blooming mountain range, and the crystal-clear blue sky all captured with his artistic stroke of watercolored paint on a Somerset Enhanced Velvet Paper. This is a limited giclee print, 5 of 100 and comes with the certificate of authenticity taped to the backside. The artist has also signed, numbered and titled the piece on the bottom edge of the painting. It is in good overall condition with minimal wear for its usage.

Artist Statement:
“My paintings blend realism and the surreal in a unique interpretation of our hills and valleys. My deep personal love of the natural beauty of Sonoma County and the northern California coast has inspired my work for five decades”.

About the Artist:
One of the founding members of the Arts Guild of Sonoma in 1977, Ray was an active and supportive member for 30 years. He was a perennial contributor of his time and artwork to the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art as an Advisory Council member, a Wet Paint donor, and an exhibitor in the Biennial and Sonoma Collects exhibitions. He also taught private classes in watercolor and oil painting.
