Design Plus Gallery presents the Clef Bench in Koa Wood from the Iolani Palace in Kona. This is with knowledge from current owner the original Clef settee made for Queen Lili’uokalani by Hilo craftsman Henry Weeks over 100 years ago. The design is inspired by the treble clef reflecting the Queen’s love of music. It is now a classic Hawaiian furniture design. Created from the finest Koa wood harvested from the Island of Hawaii. It comes with a custom seat bench and had been placed in the Iolani Palace and came to us from the descendants of Queen Lili‘uokalani. The bench is over a hundred years old and is still in good condition for its age.
