Each two-drawer chest has a sculptural bombe-form case, shaped top, cabriole legs, and scrolling feet. The drawer fronts and tops are individually hand decorated with gilt chinoiserie scenes depicting figures, pagodas, birds, flowering branches, and landscape motifs. Gilt borders follow the shaped drawer fronts and case edges, while ornate metal pulls complement the decorative composition. They are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA.
