Designed in 2000 for the Hudson Hotel in New York City, the Hudson Chair marks the first collaboration between Philippe Starck and Emeco. Starck described the design as “washing the details from the Navy Chair,” resulting in a streamlined aluminum form with enduring modern appeal. Built from 80% recycled aluminum, each chair reflects Emeco’s long-standing commitment to durability and hand-built construction. The Hudson Chair is also included in MoMA’s permanent collection. They are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA.
