Persian Abadeh Carpet – 6′3″ × 9′9″

Design Plus Gallery presents a 6ft 2in x 9ft 7in Vintage Persian Abadeh Carpet. Abadeh carpets were made in Abadeh, South Iran. They are easily recognized by their hexagonal central decoration with a red ground, bordered by blue corners t. The ground is often white with four medallions at the cornier. This one has a flowerhead motif on red ground, bordered by blue corners and a generous cream border, all profusely decorated with geometric and floral designs. In good condition consistent with age + use.
