Pennsylvania House was originally founded in Lewisburg Pennsylvania in 1887. Early Pennsylvania House took advantage of the dense surrounding forests. Nearly 90% of all their wood came from 100 miles of their workshop. Lewisburg is known as a “Cherry Capital of the World. The company later went on to produce pine and maple goods.
