Pair of Late 20th Century Swedish Gustavian Style Carved Wooden Candlesticks

Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Swedish Gustavian Style Carved Wooden Candlesticks. These tall wooden candlesticks showcase traditional Swedish Gustavian design, characterized by elongated fluted columns, carved acanthus leaf motifs, and sculptural pedestal bases. Each candlestick is topped with a circular candle platform and metal spike. The distressed ivory painted surfaces reveal underlying natural wood tones, lending an aged appearance reminiscent of 18th-century Scandinavian neoclassical design. They are in good condition with visible wear, distressed paint, and patina consistent with their aged appearance.
