Design Plus Gallery presents a Luc Leestemaker “Watercolor Triptych-2” – Mixed Media on Canvas. Painted in 2007. The composition is anchored by a beach line horizon line. A cloudy blue sky floats above. Visible wear through out, painting is in good condition. The paint is mixed with a sandy paste for textural affect. Little evidence of wear, painting is in good condition. Originally painted as the center part of a triptych. Painting is fully finished along the sides and comes with wire on the back, ready for hanging. Signed by the artist on the back.

“Luc Leestemaker was an American abstract expressionist artist who was born in Hilversum, the Netherlands. He founded an Amsterdam-based performing arts center; organized the Dutch art collective “Hart Poetry;” and headed Leestemaker & Associates, an Amsterdam-based consulting firm specializing in the arts.”
