Old Sheffield Plate George III Sterling Candelabras, a Pair. Original Price: $12,500

Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of George III Candelabras by Sheffield Plates. The bases are Sheffield sterling, hallmarked 1806, by John Roberts & Co. The branches are plated and unmarked, but matching, as was often the case. They are crested on each base and on the central bobeches. The sticker alone are 12 inches high; the candelabra assembled are 18 inches high. The branches are 17.5 inches. These candelabra are in love condition, and are very much less expensive than a pair of all in sterling would be.
