Murano Italy Hand Blown Wall Sconce

Design Plus Gallery presents a Wall Sconce of Hand Blown Murano Glass from Italy. It is made using the Murano method using ‘murrine’, mouth blown. This method consists of inserting polychrome glass rods or glass elements arranged to a mass of transparent glass. Using this method allows for a controlled outcome; this one resulting in a colorful arrangement of cobalt, turquoise, red and lilac droplets with an amber swooping line atop of a crackled tan background. The sconce is in good condition with minimal signs of wear.
