Their brand is hand-crafted in small quantities, the quality of manufacture, finish, proportion and attention to detail are reminiscent of generations past when anything less would not be tolerated. The vintage to antique secrétaire is in a dark finish with hand painted gold chinoiserie scenes on every side of the piece except the back. The bottom cabinet has seven drawers total with three third width size on the top, two half width size in the middle, and two rows of full width drawers at the base. The upper portion of its base is filled to the brim with cubbies + tiny drawers when the top is pulled down revealing the leather padded writing surface. The upper portion offers to antiqued mirrored doors with three shelves held within. Classic, timeless, well-styled and quality is the foundation for its exceptional design. Overall the piece is in good condition for its age with minimal surface wear consistent with use.
