Design Plus Gallery presents a mid-20th century Josef Hoffmann bistro set. Originally designed in 1907 for the Fledermaus cabaret in Vienna, this suite still stands for exceptional bentwood craft. The runners and the wooden spheres on the joints are typical Hoffmann style elements. The set consist of a round table with a pair of chairs. Upholstered in a green velvet that matches the table top under a glass insert. Visible wear on frame and fabric. “Whitman and Made in Austria” level plate located underneath items
