Design Plus Gallery presents a Scandinavian Designed Tambour Bow Front Teak Wood Dry Bar by Johannes Andersen for Uldum. Perfect mid-century design that utilizes lost space in the home by accentuating and fitting right into the corner of a room. The door slide open seamlessly to open up to two sections. Top section has one fixed shelf and one modular shelf, with two drawers that slide open. Lower section has one shelf dividing the area in two. Between the sections is a tray table that pulls out to hold onto the drink that is being made, and has a surface that can accept spillage from any of the liquids without staining. The designer, Andersen wanted his furniture to be compact, he experimented with reducing the footprints of bulky furniture, and his simple, iconic credenzas, sideboards and folding bar cabinets were born. These and other vintage Johannes Andersen furnishings are in high demand today by collectors and mid-century modern enthusiasts all over the world. This corner bar cabinet is no exception and is in good condition, with wear that is better than consistent due to age + use. Made in Denmark.
