Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Vintage Barrel Rattan & Cane Lounge Armchairs by McGuire Furniture. These vintage armchairs showcase McGuire’s signature approach to rattan furniture, combining curved rattan frames, woven cane panels, and decorative rawhide bindings at the joints. The barrel-form backs sweep into the arms, while tapered legs and curved lower supports continue the organic profile. Removable seat and back cushions are upholstered in a neutral woven textile with piped edges. The cushions show wear and would benefit from new upholstery. A McGuire San Francisco brass label is affixed beneath the frame. Visible wear includes minor surface marks to the rattan and localized fraying along the piping of one seat cushion. These are discontinued models from the brand and are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
