Design Plus Gallery presents a set of four Cracked Ice Rattan Dining Chairs by McGuire. Designed in 1968 by Elinor McGuire. This set is circa 1990 and in wonderful condition. What an iconic chair! This McGuire staple was designed in 1968 by Elinor McGuire. Defined by its oval rattan back which frames a series of smaller rattan members bound by rawhide to create the illusion of cracked ice. Combined with its other distinguishing features of elegant curved sides, straight legs and delicate corner details, makes this set of chairs design icons They can be used with their tie-on loose seat cushions or without. The loose seat cushions are upholstered in a cream, gray and blue polka dot design.
