Design Plus Gallery presents the Cab 413 Chair Designed by Mario Bellino for Cassina in Cognac Saddle Leather. The supporting structure of the Cab armchair is an enameled steel frame. To upholster, sixteen pieces of saddle leather are individually die cut undergoing an additional fourteen discreet procedures by hand. The pieces are sewn together after their outer edges have been trimmed to ensure a perfect fit. Once assembled, the cover is attached to the chair’s steel frame and held in place by a zipper fastening, as in a bespoke tailored garment. The superior craftsmanship and iconic design ensure it will remain an elegant staple for years to come. Brand stamp and label is found on the underside of its seat. It is in good condition with minimal signs of wear. Made in Italy.
