Magan Original Artwork of Salisbury Cathedral, Signed

Design Plus Gallery presents an Original Painting of Salisbury Castle by Magan. The artwork shows a meandering body of water running up to the cathedral, which is surprisingly important as the landmark’s foundation is only 28 inches above ground water. The cathedral famously holds one of the original copies of the Magna Carta (1215) and one of the world’s oldest working clocks. The artist, Magan made the piece so realistic with sharp, precise judgement of colors and angles. The painting is set in a multiple beveled gold wood frame with a thin matte of linen, dating it into the mid 20th century. It is signed on the lower left side and in good overall condition for its usage.
