Louis XV Style Roll Top Writing Desk

Design Plus Gallery presents a Roll Top Writing Desk in the 20th Century Louis XV Style. The desk was made with special care with its ornate presence. What we would consider to be a jewel box of a desk has a mahogany frame, inlaid wooden artwork, bronze ormolu, and thin cabriole legs. The desk, when closed, has an inlaid bouquet of flowers and when opened reveal cubbies, drawers and a writing surface to make writing a pleasure again. The desk is in good condition for its near antique age but is missing its original key.
