Design Plus Gallery presents a Louis XV Side Chair. This refined chair is similar to Rococo style with its intimate and curvilinear design. It has slender cabriole legs, asymmetrical floral carvings, and a smaller, more comfortable size compared to earlier styles. It is defined by its sinuous lines, cartouche-shaped backrest, serpentine seat rails, and carved “escargot” or scroll feet. The sumptuous tan ostrich leather has a nail head trim around all wood to connect and also protect the textile from distress from use. It is in good condition with minimal signs of visible wear for its usage.
