Design Plus Gallery presents a Snowdonia Sofa by Ligne Roset. Designed by Eric Jourdan for the Snowdonia Collection in 2006. A tall back gently slopes down to shorter arms. The sofa couch rests on a wood plinth base in dark brown / black ebonized wood. Silver matte accents are affixed to both the left and right side of the sofa. The removable slip cover is in a gray color. Visible wear due to age. The seat cushions needs new velcro. Bottom of seating needs restoring. Made in France.

About Designer:
“Born in 1961, Jourdan lives and works in Paris. Coming as he does from a family of architects, Eric Jourdan has a marked leaning towards classic modernist furniture. He studied at both the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Saint Etienne; Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris and has been working in design since 1998 when Neotu have been producing his designs. Some of his past projects include Fitting-out and furniture for Cartier New York, 1991, the Thomson project with Philippe Starck, 1993 and Exhibition at Galerie Gilles Peyroulet, 2000. For many years the hallmarks of his design have been serenity and clarity, so too has his work for Ligne Roset. Snowdonia created in 2006, offers a melange of sensuous curves and purity of line. His latest creation, Shaman is at once contemporary and timeless.”
