Design Plus Gallery presents a Handkerchief Stacking Chair by Lella and Massimo Vignelli for Knoll. The Handkerchief chair was developed over a period of many years – from 1982 to 1987. The ergonomic seat and back, molded from a single piece of plastic with curves to support the body, rests on a black steel base. It was designed during the 1980s, a period characterized by Post Modern decorative excesses. The Handkerchief chair has simple, clean lines that reflect the Vignelli’s modernist stance, which they maintained throughout their career despite changing fashions. Chair is in good condition with minima wear for their usage.
