Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Piston Adjustable Stools by LaPalma. Designed in 2000 by Shin and Tomoko Azumi. The height of functionality, strikingly sleek and airy, features a sculptural seat that not only swivels smoothly, but also adjusts from counter height to bar height and back again with a gas-lift cylinder. These beauties are upholstered seats in a white leather, the frame is in a stainless steel finish. Once named Product of the Year at the FX International Interior Design Awards in the year of its release. It’s visual lightness that creates the illusion of freedom from gravity. LEM is included in the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Made in Italy. Visible and minor wear from usage + age.
