Knoll Studio Raul De Armas Chairs – a Pair

Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of De Armas Chairs by KnollStudio. Designed by Raul de Armas in 1991. Wanting his chair “to be classic, not classical,” Raul de Armas drew on the principles of modern architecture and a strict geometric logic. Despite its generous proportions, the de Armas chair is graceful and visually light, with flush connections and gently tapering legs and armrests. The wood frame is maple. Upholstered seating in a dark seafoam gray chenille blend fabric. Visible minor wear on frame and fabric. Logo plate attached to bottom of chair.
