Karl Springer Purcell Brass + Aqua Glass Wall Sconce
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents a Purcell Brass + Aqua Glass Wall Sconce by Karl Springer. Designed in the 1980s, this sconce has a curved brass shade paired with a layered green-blue glass insert. The hand-chipped glass insert is noted as work by New York glass artist Joseph Spohr. The sculptural form reflects Springer’s glamorous modern design language and use of dramatic materials. It is in good cosmetic condition with visible and minimal wear from usage; this sconce is not currently in working order and will require professional repair.
