Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Safari Stools from Carl Hansen & Son. This style was designed by Kaare Klint in 1933. They were influenced by a British officer’s chair that Klint had seen in a travel guide for Africa. This stool is one of the world’s first ‘build-it-yourself’ furniture items and is all about functionality. They have a frame in a dark walnut finish with a light canvas fabric, with the dark walnut not being in production currently. In good condition, visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in Denmark.
