This white bench is a modern day version of a telephone table, where you would have a nice place to seat while talking on the phone at home in a leisurely manner. The drawers were meant to keep and hold information such as telephone books, note pads and contact information. Today, we can still use this as a retro throwback to holding a conversation for a land line phone or use it in an entry room, bathroom, closet or even in a mess room.
