The composure of the still life is finely executed oil painting on canvas. The painting gives a crisp glimpse into the luxury of quiet country life. In the foreground a line up of cherries, an apple + a plum have been laid out with a knife having just cut a slice of apple before retiring into the wooden beam. The background has a dilapidated barn set within withering trees with a clear blue sky overhead and a blanket of green grass. The artwork is signed in the lower right corner + set in a wide antiqued bronze frame. Overall the painting is in good condition with minimal wear for its usage.
