Design Plus Gallery presents a Busto De Nina from House Parts, Inc. This charming bust of a small girl with braids was done in France in 1744 by Jacques Saly. It is one of the most often reproduced sculptures from the 18th century. Saly was sent to Paris at age 15 to train with Guillaume Coustou. Because of his great talent, he became one of the first French members of the Academia degli Arcadi in Rome, 1744, the Academy of Design at Florence, 1748, and later the Academia di Belli Arti, in Bologna. The style in which they produce this bust has changed and is no longer available like this. It is in good overall condition for its usage.
