Design Plus Gallery presents “Harmony,” a 1985 Mixed-Media lithograph from Hisashi Otsuka. The composition depicts a golden Buddha seated upon a lotus blossom between two stylized female profiles. Gold-leaf embellishment and a mother-of-pearl coating add luminous detail to the figure, crown, robes, and lotus elements. This work is from a limited edition of 110 of 300 and is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. It is presented beneath glass in black matting and an ornate gilt frame. It is in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage. The frame has surface marks and scuffs, and the paper backing is torn and deteriorated.
