Design Plus Gallery an Eames Aluminum Group Executive Chair by Herman Miller. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958. Named for the aluminum side ribs, which hold the one-piece seat-back suspension taught to create a body-welcoming “sitting pocket.” A high-backed silhouette, and, because the Eames never favored style over substance, has an innovative suspension system that creates firm but flexible support. The frame is a polished aluminum, upholstered in a yarrow. The base has five casters for easy mobility. Visible and minor wear from usage + age.
