Design Plus Gallery presents a Cherry Wood Writing Desk and/or Vanity with Brass Gallery by Henry C. Steul & Sons. The brand was a high-quality furniture manufacturer operating out of Buffalo, New York, known for producing fine, handcrafted reproductions of Early American, William & Mary, and Jacobean styles during the 1920s and 1930s. The desk doubles as a modern-day vanity with pizzazz considering it numerous objects of decorative flair. The tabletop is shaped with an opening for you to sit comfortably under and has an etched brass gallery across its backside. There are swan neck handles, numerous brass ormolu mounts, and cabriole legs to create a refined and sophisticated workspace. There is one single center drawer and two staggered depth drawers on either side with one of these bearing the metal shield from the brand. It is in good condition with signs of wear within the drawers that is standard for its near antique usage. Made in the USA.
