Greek Orthodox Painted Saint George the Wonder Worker on Wood, Signed
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents an Artist Signed Painted Icon on Wood. “Saint George the Wonderworker” primarily refers to Saint George the Great Martyr and Victory-Bearer, a 3rd-century Roman soldier who became a Christian martyr. He is venerated in many religions for his military achievements and miracles, including defeating a dragon. This icon on wood is gleaming with gold and offers great sheen if placed in a lighted area. The antique artwork is in good condition for its age + use.
