The designer used the smooth lines of modernism to clear up the “slum of legs” that he felt plagued most furniture design. This high-quality reproduction features a cast aluminum tulip shaped base in glossy white, strong and durable enough to easily hold the honed gray veined Carrara marble tabletop with pencil edged bevel. Little evidence of wear; recently recoated surface; 1/4″ irregularity in surface; condition is good for age and use.
