Hippolyte François Moreau (1832-1927) was the brother of Auguste Monreau (1834-1917) Famous Sculptor brothers born in Paris. Sons of Jean-Baptiste Moreau, a sculptor, who also worked as a painter and draughtsman. A lost art that was later found, the Collection Francaise was then created after the missing original molds in France were found. Visible and minor wear with age. Signed “H. Monreau” and marked ‘”Collection Francaise”. Consist of six candelabra lights.
