Crest on face shows a banner with the phrase ” Fonderia de Follonica.” Follonica is a region in Tuscan Italy along the Northwest coast of the Mediterranean. The region was founded in 1834 by Grand Duke Leopold II of Tuscany for the workers of a new ironworks (fonderia) plant. This piece pay homage to that long standing history with the classic urn formation. Visible wear through out, urn is in good condition.
