Design Plus Gallery presents the Newport Liliana Chinoiserie Secretary Desk by Ethan Allen. This late-20th-century design has a black lacquered surface adorned with hand-painted gilt floral and foliate motifs. Two geometric mullioned glass doors open to an illuminated hutch with adjustable glass shelves and a gold-tone interior backing. The slant-front writing panel opens to reveal six small drawers, divided cubbies, arched compartments, and a central cabinet. Three full-width drawers are accented with ornate metal bail pulls. A molded cornice, pierced geometric trim, bracket feet, and decorative fretwork complete the design. This is a discontinued model with the brand and is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA.
