Empire Style Four Drawer Chest

Design Plus Gallery presents an Early 19th Century Empire Style Four Drawer Chest. Beautiful walnut veneers adorn the meticulously crafted solid frame dresser. Dresser was retrofitted in Mid 20th Century with new back panel. Interior is lined with a period styled paper. Pillared sides are capped with a brass details which is beautifully echoed in the hardware and interior border of the drawers. Top is a unique patchwork of veneers later modified. Visible wear and cracking on the finish. Tapered legs were later added as well.
