Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Six Swivel Tulip Shape Dining Chairs from Knoll Studio. The iconic set of chairs were designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957. True classics of American mid-century architecture, a period vastly characterised by the simplification of everyday living. Designed to eliminate the unnecessary clutter of legs underneath, the chairs swivel smoothly. The molded fiberglass shell forms a beautiful curvature around the back and through the arms in a seamless line, both elegant and ergonomic, and is finished with a removable silicone foam pad upholstered in red leather. Light surface wear; original velcro replaced; residual glue remains; condition is good for age and use.
