Design Plus Gallery presents a Round Saarinen by Knoll. Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1956. The Saarinen Dining Table, as Eero explained in a 1956 Time magazine cover story, was designed to “clear up the slum of legs in the U.S. home.” Later that year, he completed the Tulip Pedestal Table, which stands on a gracefully shaped cast-aluminum base. This is the authentic Pedestal Table by Knoll. It’s stamped with the KnollStudio logo and Eero Saarinen’s signature. In good condition, visible and minimal wear from usage.
