Design Plus Glalery presents a Oaxacan “Papel Amate” Framed Fiber Art. A long and expansive textile are is hand made from the Indians of the Pahuatlan Puebla. The weaving is made from boiling indigenous tree bark and forming them into an array of weavings and layering. Weaving is framed in almost a floating fashion with black stained wood frame. Minor wear, art piece is in good condition.
