Design Plus Gallery presents “Pannier des Pommes” a Lithograph from the original etching done in 1928, with signature. Icart (1880-1950) became one of the symbols of the Art Deco-Art Nouveau periods, throwing off the conservative mantel of Victorian Fashion. His image here, dressed in revealing fabrics, seduces with her carelessness as she wanders the stone path. Double matted and traditionally framed to lovely effect. Light surface wear; condition is good for age and use.
