Design Plus Gallery presents a Large Spanish Revival Console from Kuchins Furniture Company. Handcrafted in the early 20th Century in Grand Rapids, MI. Ornate brass hinges and pulls embellish the two doors, inset with carved wood lattice. Behind doors open cubbies supply storage. The credenza houses a single drawer with large, rivets that secure a leather panel and embossed and gilt crest. Elaborate brass pull. The legs are painted with staggered bands of gold and red between natural bands of the rich mahogany finish. There is a wood pestle hanging from a chain on the underside. Significant visible wear and fading; consistent with age and use. Made in the US.
