The cabinet is coated in a black lacquer and adorned with hand-painted gold gilt chinoiserie scenes and decorative motifs that reflect an 18th-century European interpretation of Chinese art and design. The cabinet has an upper glass display hutch and a lower two-door cabinet base that splits in two for ease of transport. Inside the hutch are three glass shelves and an illuminated interior, ideal for beautifully showcasing collectibles, china, or decorative objects. Practical details include DIY cutouts on the lower back for electronics wire passage, making this piece as functional as it is decorative. In good condition, visible and minimal wear from usage.
