Design Plus Gallery presents the Esperanto Extension Dining Table from Drexel. This American-made table belongs to Drexel’s distinctive Esperanto collection, introduced during the 1960s. The oval top displays walnut veneer arranged in geometric sections that highlight the natural grain, while the molded perimeter and paneled apron provide architectural definition. Four tapered legs are accented with carved collar details and metal-capped feet, complementing the table’s mid-century interpretation of traditional forms. The extension design allows the tabletop to expand while preserving its graceful oval profile. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. The extensions are the original finish, the table is discolored from sun and age. Made in the USA.
