Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Six Design Within Reach 78 Moller Walnut + Rush Seat Side Chairs. These chairs have been produced since 1962 under Moller Furniture. Moller Furniture was created in 1944. Design Within Reach has reproduced these under the patent of the original company which was created by Niels Otto Møller. Known for heirloom quality craftsmanship with organic material, production today still uses old craft traditions like handwoven seats. The Model 78 Chair is made from a single 425 ft. length cord! These today are still simple, elegant, timeless works of art. Moller Furniture hand-selects raw wood from environmentally friendly sources and are finished with an oiled polish done by hand. Legs are made of a solid walnut. Made in Denmark.
