Design Plus Gallery presents a Helix Coffee Table by Design Within Reach. Designed by Chris Hardy in 2011 .Organic modern base utilizes a walnut and interconnected brass castings. Distinctive A-symmetrical base looks different from every angle. Glass oval top showcases the sculptural base and balances the linear quality with a rounded silhouette. Design debuted at Salone del Mobile in 2011. Visible and minor conditions on glass and natural patina.

About Design:
“For Helix, I was inspired by the challenge of personalization in the modern world, and the increasing desire that we have to own objects that match our own styles and philosophies – in the way that art does,” explains Hardy. Brass has a natural finish that made by hand. Minor irregularities in the brass are typical of the casting process and are not defects. Glass tabletop is slowly cooled in a kiln to relieve internal stresses after it’s formed. There are scratches on the glass, coffee table is in good overall condition. Leveling glides adjust for uneven floors. Base made in India.
